Customer Service Engineer I – Madison/Milwaukee, WI

Location: Milwaukee/Madison, WI
Shift: Monday – Friday, 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Overview This role focuses on servicing CT/MR imaging equipment in the Milwaukee/Madison area, including installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance, while delivering training and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Serve CT/MR Imaging Equipment at customer sites.
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare systems with minimal supervision.
Deliver timely repairs and provide operator training to ensure optimal system performance and superior customer satisfaction.
Manage financial performance within the territory, meeting or exceeding budget for revenue generation and expense control.
Manage company assets (vehicle, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts).
Build and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers; perform administrative duties accurately.
Qualifications
Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on medical imaging equipment at customer sites.
Ability to establish and maintain business relationships and perform administrative duties accurately.
Experience in testing, repairing, and maintaining medical equipment.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Proficiency in tools and service test equipment.
General understanding of electricity, power supplies, and grounding.
Required Skills
Minimum high school diploma; technical associate’s degree or equivalent preferred.
Proficient use of tools and service test equipment; ability to work both individually and in a team.
Proficiency with necessary network applications and tools (eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools).
3+ years’ experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments.
Valid driver’s license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record.
Physical requirements: lifting 50 lbs, walking, ladder/steps, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, high reach, fine grasp, good vision.
Excellent judgment in customer relations and in managing company resources; strong competency in instrument systems technology (mechanics, electrical, chemistry, software technology).
