Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production, engineering, and maintenance roles.
Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
Ensure compliance with all labor laws, company policies, and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) within the manufacturing facility.
Develop and implement performance management systems tailored to manufacturing productivity and quality standards.
Administer competitive compensation and benefits programs, including shift differentials and incentive plans.
Identify training needs and coordinate development programs to enhance skills and safety for manufacturing employees.
Partner with plant leadership to align HR strategies with operational goals and production targets.
Recommended Qualifications
Proven experience managing all HR functions within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices relevant to manufacturing operations.
Demonstrated ability in employee relations, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive plant culture.
Experience with talent acquisition, workforce planning, and retention strategies for skilled trades and production roles.
Ability to partner with leadership to drive HR initiatives that support operational goals and productivity.
Bonus Qualifications
Multilingual proficiency to support a diverse workforce (e.g., Spanish, Vietnamese).
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing apprenticeship or skilled trades training programs.
Certification in change management or project management.
