We are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our team and support our attorneys in delivering exceptional, detail-oriented legal representation. The Family Law Paralegal will assist attorneys with all aspects of case management, including drafting pleadings and orders, managing discovery, preparing for hearings and trials, communicating with clients, and coordinating with courts and opposing counsel. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in Texas family law procedures and is familiar with the practices of Harris, Brazoria, and Fort Bend counties. Key Responsibilities

Draft, revise, and finalize family-law pleadings, including petitions, answers, TROs, temporary orders, discovery, MSAs, decrees, SAPCR orders, modifications, and enforcement pleadings. Prepare discovery requests; organize, review, and summarize discovery responses; manage deficiency letters and deadlines. Prepare mediation binders, hearing binders, and trial notebooks; organize exhibits and assist with trial preparation. Coordinate e-filing through eFileTexas; correct rejections and monitor filings with the district clerks. Manage case deadlines, docket settings, hearings, mediations, and attorney calendars. Communicate professionally with clients to obtain documentation, provide case updates, and maintain excellent client relationships. Assist in gathering, organizing, and formatting evidence (texts, emails, social-media records, OurFamily Wizard, AppClose, and TalkingParents reports, Soberlinks, BACTrack logs, financials, CPS records, etc.). Prepare subpoenas, business records affidavits, and coordinate witness subpoenas and service. Draft correspondence, notices, Rule 11 agreements, certificates of conference, and proposed orders. Work with MyCase (or similar practice-management software), Dropbox/Google Drive, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office applications. Track billable time consistently and accurately; assist with invoice preparation and billing management. Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold professional and ethical standards at all times. Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience as a family-law paralegal in Texas. Strong working knowledge of Texas Family Code, Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, and Texas Rules of Evidence. Direct experience handling cases in Harris, Brazoria, Fort Bend and/or Montgomery counties (preferred). Ability to independently draft family-law pleadings with minimal revision needed. Proficiency with e-filing, calendaring deadlines, and managing litigation timelines. Experience preparing trial notebooks, mediation binders, and hearing exhibits. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to maintain composure, accuracy, and attention to detail under pressure. Proficiency in MyCase, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word/Excel, and cloud-based storage platforms. Board Certification in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization is strongly preferred but not required. Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a boutique or high-volume family-law practice. Familiarity with mediation processes and settlement preparation. Experience handling sensitive, high-stakes cases involving protective orders, and/or significant property division.
