Our client is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a temporary assignment to provide critical support in leave of absence administration, payroll processing, and employee onboarding.
Schedule Hybrid - Onsite Monday-Wednesday, Remote Thursday-Friday
Key Responsibilities
Administer leave of absence programs including FMLA, state disability, and other statutory leaves
Coordinate LOA paperwork, track employee leave status, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
Provide payroll support including processing timesheets, verifying payroll data, and resolving payroll discrepancies
Facilitate new hire onboarding including processing paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring completion of I‑9 and employment verification
Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems
Respond to employee inquiries regarding leave policies, payroll questions, and onboarding processes
Partner with management and employees to ensure smooth administration of HR programs
Qualifications
3+ years of HR Generalist experience with strong focus on leave administration and payroll support
Thorough knowledge of FMLA, ADA, state leave laws, and employment regulations
Experience with HRIS systems and payroll platforms
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment
Compensation $25‑$38/hour based on experience
