Department Information The CDI is the consumer protection agency for the nation's largest insurance marketplace and safeguards all of the state’s consumers by fairly regulating the insurance industry. Job Description & Duties Do you enjoy working in a fast‑paced remote‑centered environment with variety in your work? The California Department of Insurance (CDI) is seeking a dynamic Staff Services Analyst (SSA) to join our Business Management Bureau Team! Under the supervision of the Los Angeles Facilities and Business Services Manager, Staff Services Manager I (SSMI), this Staff Services Analyst (SSA) position serves as the Records, Forms and Business Services Support Analyst of the Business Services Los Angeles Unit, within the Financial and Business Management Division – Business Management Bureau (FBMD‑BMB) – Facilities and Business Management Section. The SSA performs technical and analytical work in a variety of functions that includes Records Management, Forms Management, and Business Services within the FBMD‑BMB. The SSA will express a high degree of initiative and provide excellent customer service in the development and implementation of various technical, analytical and staff administrative support activities including, but not limited to, Emergency Preparedness, Records Management, Forms Management, and FBMD‑BMB Web Administration. Effective July 1, 2025, the California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) implemented the Personal Leave Program (PLP) 2025 and related Pay Differential 386. PLP 2025 requires employees to receive a reduction in pay in exchange for monthly hours of PLP 2025 leave credits.
