JR4932STV’s Transportation group currently has an opening in our **Franklin or Chattanooga, TN** offices for a **Transportation Engineering Specialist**.

This person will primarily perform production of plans, specifications, quantity estimates and various studies and reports for road projects including but not limited to design projects for public agencies.**The candidate will be responsible for:*** Supporting interdisciplinary projects, document preparation and production* Assisting with the design of roadway alignments and details, grading, drainage, traffic and other roadway infrastructure* Interacting with client management teams, engineers, and marketing teams* Design using Bentley Open Roads Designer**Required Skills & Required Experience:*** BS/MS degree in Civil Engineering / EIT Certification is required* **2 or more years of experience** in transportation, highway and roadway design, or closely related engineering field.* Proficient in Bentley MicroStation & Bentley Open Roads Designer* Familiarity with TDOT Roadway Standards, Criteria, and Specifications* *Ability to support management and provide technical expertise in the following areas:*- Roadway/highway design- Vertical and horizontal alignments- Pavement section design- Drainage system designCompensation Range:$65,126.50 - $86,835.34STV offers the following benefits • Health insurance, including an option with a Health Savings Account • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care and Transit and Parking where applicable) • Disability insurance • Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment • 401(k) Plan • Retirement Counseling • Employee Assistance Program • Paid Time Off (16 days) • Paid Holidays (8 days) • Back-Up Dependent Care (up to 10 days per year) • Parental Leave (up to 80 hours) • Continuing Education Program • Professional Licensure and Society MembershipsSTV is committed to paying all of its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner.
