Right-of-Way Project Coordinator

Job Description
Capital Program Delivery has a SPLOST Project Coordinator position open; the primary responsibility of this role is management of property acquisition services for projects identified in the 2017 and 2023 SPLOST programs, including managing the right-of-way acquisition team, allocated budgets and resources assigned to acquisition services to deliver projects on schedule. The Project Coordinator is crucial to maintaining the pace of acquisition and will work closely with the Pre-Construction and Construction divisions within Capital Program Delivery.
Essential Duties
Overseeing daily operations of Program Delivery SPLOST Program acquisition management activities
Preparing project related documents; responding to project acquisition inquiries both internal and external
Work closely with department leadership and other county departments and external entities
Establishing schedules and methods for department acquisition resource management
Developing goals and objectives, as well as policies and procedures
Monitoring work activities to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
Monitoring budgets to ensure appropriate allocation of funding for project acquisition tasks.
Public Speaking Duties
Ability to communicate effectively and engage with staff, citizens, leadership, and elected officials as needed.
Other Job Requirements/Information
This job is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule after an initial probationary period and individual approval.
Grade The grade for this position is 105. Salary will be dependent on education and experience.
Effective 4/11/2023, this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Financial Services, or closely related field AND
Three years of progressively related experience
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
