The Assistant Program Director Unit Manager is responsible for the quality delivery and oversight of treatment, educational, vocational, and student health and welfare services in accordance with Rite of Passage policies and procedures as well as federal, state, and local rules, regulations, licensing, practices and laws. In the absence of the Program Director, this position is responsible for day‑to‑day site operations, administrative oversight, and leadership of the site management team. OPERATIONS: Site operations, policies and procedures; educational/vocational departments; safety, health and welfare of staff and students; clinical services, education, vocation and health and welfare “best”; chairperson for site management meeting; oversee delivery of the daily program. FINANCE: Assist the Program Director with managing the budget, site expenditures, position control roster, and reporting. HUMAN RELATIONS: Training and continuous development of site management team; ensure training compliance (pre‑service, ops, OJT, and in‑service); employee evaluation, discipline and corrective action; ensure proper staffing levels within position control roster. To Be Considered:

BA/BS in related field (master’s degree preferred). Experience working with the Department of Juvenile Justice in Florida. Minimum of four years of related experience in residential facility management. Empathetic, patient, and respectful. Able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
