Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position requiring Epic experience and a VA or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
Work in a hospital-based Progressive Care Unit with general medicine and hospitalist patients
Patient ratio currently 1:5 with a goal of 1:4
Scheduled for 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
Floating required to other PCU and Med Surg units as needed
EPIC is the electronic medical record used
All requested time off must be submitted up front and approval for Christmas off cannot be granted
Travelers are required to work at least one holiday per 13-week assignment, except during winter holidays when two holidays are required
Candidates living within 100 miles of the facility are not accepted as travelers
Candidates living 50-99.9 miles away or less than 50 miles have specific eligibility and extension limitations
Prior employees must have at least a one-year break before returning as a traveler
Facility modules and Epic training included in orientation
Requirements
Active VA or compact RN license required
Epic charting experience required
Minimum two professional references required for consideration
Must provide a copy of driver's license and Social Security number
