What you'll do:
Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution or trial.
Prepare and argue motions and appear for court conferences.
Conduct and defend depositions.
Draft legal documents including pleadings, discovery, and motions.
Perform legal research and write memoranda or briefs.
Provide strategic counsel to clients in municipal and school district defense matters.
Experience you'll need: We are currently seeking a Litigation Attorney with good experience in one or more of the following areas:
Insurance defense
Premises liability
Motor Vehicle Liability
Labor law
Personal injury
Civil litigation
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Admitted to practice law in New York State.
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Trial experience is a plus.
