Summary Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal‑directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process. The RN delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results.
Schedule
12‑hour rotating shifts
Hours per week: 12
24‑48 hours per 6‑week schedule depending on tier
Pay Hourly; Pay Grade: Health‑28.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Licensed as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for most nursing areas within the hospital
Physical ability to stand, sit, walk, climb stairs, lift and carry up to 50 lbs, perform repetitive motions, and maintain vision and hearing acuity
Physical and Mental Requirements Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, working indoors and outdoors, standing in confined spaces, performing repetitive motions, lifting and carrying manageable weight, maintain vision, hearing, and emotional resilience. Specific weight and functional benchmarks are provided by the organization.
