Posted Monday, December 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM Position Summary The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading maintenance operations to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all production and facility equipment. This role oversees preventive and corrective maintenance programs, supervises maintenance staff, and partners cross-functionally to minimize downtime, support production goals, and ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team, including mechanics and technicians, to ensure high performance and engagement. Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive maintenance (PM) programs to maximize equipment uptime and asset life. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation issues impacting production. Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Sanitation, and Engineering to support operational goals. Maintain and optimize CMMS usage, including work orders, PMs, spare parts, and maintenance metrics. Monitor maintenance KPIs such as downtime, MTTR, PM compliance, and labor utilization. Ensure compliance with all safety, GMP, food safety, and regulatory requirements. Manage maintenance budgets, including parts inventory, contractor services, and repair expenses. Support capital projects, equipment installations, and line modifications in partnership with Engineering. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency, and cost reduction. Ensure proper documentation, SOPs, and training are in place for maintenance activities. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent hands‑on experience. 5+ years of progressive maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. 2+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Experience in food manufacturing, CPG, or regulated manufacturing environments required. Strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment and systems. Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance KPI tracking. Solid understanding of safety, regulatory, and food safety requirements. Budgeting, planning, and organizational skills. Effective leadership, coaching, and team development abilities. Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills. Clear communication skills (written and verbal). Continuous improvement and reliability‑focused mindset. Physical & Work Environment Manufacturing plant environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and temperature variations. Ability to walk production floors and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Flexibility to support off‑shift or weekend needs as required.
