Physician Assistant - Family Practice & Emergency Medicine

We are seeking highly skilled Physician Assistants to join our dynamic urgent care teams across multiple locations. Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 12 months of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in urgent or acute care settings
  • Certification: NCCPA, PA Cert, Family NP Cert, BLS
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR system and ability to use it effectively in documentation and patient management
  • Ability to independently evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across age groups (6 months and older) in both family practice and emergency medicine settings
  • Excellent interpersonal soft skills to effectively communicate with patients and support staff
  • Knowledge of minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, ear irrigation, etc.
  • Able to work without supervision and manage diverse case types efficiently

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Additional certifications or training in advanced emergency procedures
  • Experience in pediatrics and adult urgent care
  • Familiarity with other EMR systems and healthcare technology platforms
  • Bilingual capabilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Board-certified or NCCPA-certified Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner with at least 12 months of urgent care or emergency medicine experience
  • Prior experience working independently as the sole provider in urgent care centers

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work at multiple sites within a 65-mile radius of your residence
  • Flexibility to accommodate varying patient volumes, up to approximately 40 patients per day depending on the site
  • Must pass credentialing, including Medicare enrollment
  • Willingness to complete EMR training and onboarding prior to first solo shift
  • No travel or lodging reimbursement provided; only mileage
