Location: Mission Hills, California 91345
Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
Unit: Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Start Date: November 10, 2025
End Date: February 9, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night, 3×12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00)
Hours per Week: 36
Estimated Weekly Pay: $2310 – $2480
Patient Ratios: 1:2
Scrub Color: Any color (L&D & OR provided)
Charting System: Epic
Parking: Free parking on site
Qualifications – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse
Active California RN license (required for California nursing jobs)
Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (2 years preferred)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN, LA City Fire Card (within last 30 days)
Experience circulating for cesarean sections in the operating room
References: 2 Supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years
Ability to float between Labor & Delivery and similar clinical units in California
Epic charting experience required
Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)
First-time travel nurses welcome
Key Responsibilities – L&D RN Travel Nurse
Provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns
Circulate for C-sections and assist in the operating room
Monitor and assess patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum stages
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Social Services)
Float between units and facilities within California as needed
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic charting system
Participate in orientation and annual training modules
