Production Supervisor. Location: Monroe, LA. Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour. Shift: Monday – Friday (Some Saturdays), 8 AM – 5 PM.
Job Description You’re a hands‑on leader who can run a shift, hit production targets, and keep the crew motivated and safe. This is more than a warehouse gig; it’s a leadership role.
Qualifications
Diploma or GED (extra training is a bonus).
2+ years experience in an industrial environment.
Able to stand, lift 50 lbs, and maintain shift pace.
Knowledge of safety rules and ability to enforce them.
Knowledge of steel products and pipe manufacturing process.
Able to read blueprints and interpret technical specifications.
Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and coordinate daily activities of team members involved in metal processing, pipe fabrication, and related production operations.
Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure all work is completed efficiently and in alignment with production schedules.
Inspect finished work to verify it meets all specifications, quality requirements, and company standards.
Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies; conduct routine safety inspections to ensure a safe work environment.
Oversee proper use, care, and maintenance of tools, machinery, and materials to support optimal productivity.
Provide hands‑on training, coaching, and support for new employees and existing staff to strengthen skill levels and overall team performance.
Identify and address production issues quickly while implementing effective corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of production output, labor hours, material usage, and other required documentation.
Work closely with sales, logistics, maintenance, and other departments to meet customer needs and support smooth workflow across the organization.
