About The Position
We are looking for full‑time Automotive Mechanics to join our service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Webster, NY area. Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.
Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers’ vehicles.
Conduct undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, and shocks.
Complete state‑mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids.
Replace worn parts, dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and repair.
Regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
Qualifications
At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Minimum 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance, or a combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties.
Extensive tool box of personal tools used in undercar repairs.
Preferred: State inspection license(s).
Preferred: ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).
