Weekly Hybrid Working Arrangements : Minimum 2 days in office and maximum 3 days remote work, 8‑5 pm. Work arrangements are subject to change at any time. The position will comply with the Forensics Services Department current working arrangements. Located within the Colorado Department of Human Services, the Office of Civil and Forensic Mental Health (OCFMH) is responsible for policy development, service provision, program monitoring, and administrative oversight of the public behavioral health system. The Forensic Services Division oversees six departments, including Forensic Community Based Services, Jail Based Evaluation and Restoration, Outpatient Restoration, the Forensic Support Team, the Court Services Department, and the Operations Department. Purpose of the Position

The position assists the director in overseeing and monitoring competency‑based evaluation and restoration programs at Peak View Behavioral Health, the Arapahoe County Detention Facility, and the Denver County facility. Primary responsibilities include screening referrals for hospital‑purchased restoration beds, assessing patient acuity, and determining appropriate placement or transfer. The incumbent serves as a clinical team lead for Health Professional III’s, provides clinical oversight to private hospital beds, gathers data for reporting, writes policies, conducts audits, performs site visits, and coordinates programs with various agencies. The role also supports contract negotiations and works with providers to ensure client care and compliance. Job Duties

Screen referrals for admission, transfer, and discharge to hospital‑purchased beds using established criteria. Assist Health Professional III’s in making admission, transfer, and discharge decisions for jail‑based restoration beds. Serve as contract monitor for performance at hospital‑purchased bed locations, conduct audits, and provide clinical oversight. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure continuity of care during admissions and discharges. Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting to OCFMH and CDHS management. Perform on‑call responsibilities during weekends and evenings as needed. Carry out additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications

Seven (7) years of relevant experience in a related occupation. Or a combination of related education and experience totaling seven years. Master's level education in mental health or related field and a current license as a Clinical Social Worker or Professional Counselor preferred. Preferred Qualifications

Experience with competency to stand trial and working with severely mentally ill individuals in acute settings. Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Gmail, Google Applications). Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and oral/written communication. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and to prioritize tasks. Conditions of Employment
