Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver professional nursing care to clients in a therapeutic environment where safety and security are paramount. MSOP serves people who are court‑ordered to receive sex offender treatment via the civil commitment process.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform medication and treatment administration, assess client needs, and develop and implement client‑specific nursing care plans.
Work as part of the team to provide comprehensive treatment, completing health assessment reports and participating in review meetings.
Follow and enforce all security, safety and legal requirements to ensure a safe and secure facility.
Serve as a positive role model to clients, demonstrating professional and personal behavior.
Minimum Qualifications
Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota.
Recent graduates within six (6) months of completing a degree and taking the NCLEX‑RN are encouraged to apply; contingent offers may be made upon successful completion of degree and passing of NCLEX‑RN.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
Experience in mental health or behavioral health settings.
Demonstrated cultural responsiveness and experience working with diverse populations.
