Responsibilities The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for performing experienced, professional nursing care. This includes assessing and diagnosing the needs of patients, developing individualized nursing plans, coordinating with the multi‑disciplinary team, providing direct nursing interventions or delegating tasks, evaluating the effectiveness of the plan, and other duties as assigned.
In this role you will be an active member of the treatment team at a Community Behavioral Health Hospital (CBHH) and may act as charge nurse when assigned. CBHHs are 16‑bed inpatient psychiatric facilities for adults experiencing serious mental health episodes; stays are usually less than 30 days with focus on stabilization, patient education, and discharge planning.
Minimum Qualifications
Current licensure or eligible for licensure in Minnesota as a Registered Nurse.
Future Registered Nurses within six (6) months of graduating and taking the NCLEX‑RN are encouraged to apply. Contingent offers may be made upon successful completion of degree and passing of the NCLEX‑RN.
Preferred Qualifications
Patient care experience within a mental health or behavioral health setting.
