Operations Manager – Floor (Grocery)
Walmart is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to drive and implement the business plan for floor operations in a grocery environment. The role is based in Pageland, SC (160 W Dove Sutton Rd, Pageland, SC 29728-1556) and is a part‑time position.
Base Pay Range:
$84,000.00/yr – $126,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and associates verbally and/or in writing.
Drive and implement the business plan for the area of responsibility to achieve facility goals, including production, quality, safety, and operational improvements.
Forecast staffing, workload, and performance to meet business demands for the area of responsibility.
Prepare, review, and analyze business reports to identify operational improvements.
Monitor compliance with logistics, company quality and safety standards, and policies and procedures.
Identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns using judgment or consulting others as needed.
Supervise and manage associates and leaders, providing direction, monitoring performance, feedback, training, and growth opportunities.
Recruit, coach, and evaluate associates, leaders, and managers.
Build high‑performing teams, embrace diversity, create a culture of belonging, and support all associates to thrive.
Maintain integrity, ethics, and compliance, acting with humility and fairness.
Deliver results while putting the customer first, using data‑driven decisions and balancing short‑ and long‑term priorities.
Drive continuous improvement, adopt new technologies, and support others through change.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management) and:
1 year of experience in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in hiring and promotion for multiple departments/areas; OR
1 year experience as a Walmart Logistics Area Manager supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates; managing associate workload; and participating in hiring and promotion of associates; OR
3 years experience in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment with similar supervisory responsibilities.

Modeling/Forecasting
Preparing and executing budgets
Profit and Loss (P&L) accountability
Supervising Associates, Walmart Logistics Manager experience
Bachelor’s degrees: Business, Finance, Logistics, Management, Operations Management
