Job Responsibilities
Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center
Manage rentals and inventory using smartphone-based U-Scan technology
Perform maintenance tasks such as cleaning and inspecting equipment
Prepare rental invoices and accept returned equipment
Participate in ongoing training and education through U-Haul University
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving equipment weighing at least 50 lbs
Willingness to adhere to safety precautions and use protective gear as necessary
Strong customer service skills and ability to educate customers on products and services
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in customer service or related fields
Familiarity with rental equipment or vehicles
Basic knowledge of mechanical tasks or maintenance
Ability to drive a forklift (certification provided upon employment)
Willingness to obtain propane filling certification (provided upon employment)
