RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and support daily production activities across 3-4 departments, ensuring targets for safety, quality, and output are achieved.
Supervise and develop production employees and team leads through coaching, training, and performance feedback.
Ensure all staff are properly trained in procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
Track labor efficiency, material usage, and workflow; identify improvement opportunities to increase productivity and reduce waste.
Work closely with engineering, quality, materials, and maintenance teams to resolve production challenges.
Maintain production records, analyze performance trends, and report key metrics to management.
Promote a strong safety-first culture and take action on any hazards or concerns.
Support and lead continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean, 5S, and Kaizen activities.
Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews for team members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED required.
At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Previous supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, quality control practices, and production planning.
Proficiency with computer systems including ERP platforms and Office 365.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and production documents.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing methods (5S, Kaizen, etc.) is a plus.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work around moving mechanical equipment.
