Are you a skilled mechanical technician who enjoys hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and seeing a project through from start to finish? We’re looking for a

Mechanical Technician III

to bring advanced mechanical expertise and leadership to exciting, custom‑built projects. In this role, you’ll work closely with engineers and project managers to help bring designs to life — whether it's electromechanical equipment, robotics, custom structures, or workstations. You’ll be actively involved in fabrication, installation, and troubleshooting, both in our shop and out in the field at customer sites. No two projects are the same, which means your days will be full of variety, challenge, and opportunities to build and apply your knowledge. You'll also help mentor and guide other technicians, sharing what you know and supporting team growth. If you're someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment, enjoys mechanical work that pushes the boundaries of custom manufacturing, and is open to some travel and overtime, this role offers a chance to make a real impact on projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

Perform and oversee assembly, troubleshooting, prototyping, and light fabrication in shop and field settings and lead projects as assigned

Lead projects and teams as assigned

Install structural steel, columns, supports, etc.

Install a variety of conduit and pipe such as threaded, grooved, flanged, etc.

Identify potential issues and opportunities for Change Orders and communicate with Project Managers and other Engineering personnel

Interpret mechanical drawings and documentation for custom machines, systems, and products and red‑line as necessary

Train and mentor Mechanical Technicians

Working Conditions

Walk / use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or tools / reach with hands and arms / climb ladders and stairs / crawl / kneel

Sit, talk, listen, observe, read, write, and type

Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted

Perform work on site in industrial, commercial, and residential locations

5+ years’ experience in a role requiring industrial mechanical applications and installations preferred

Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent

Valid driver’s license required

Possess basic welding certifications and the ability to pass a weld test

Proficient with the selection and use of hand and power tools and equipment

Proficient in reading, interpreting, and marking up manuals and drawings

Demonstrated experience in a leadership role, such as leading a crew or team, preferred

Proficient in understanding the scope of work for specific tasks
