Overview As a Mechanical Field Technician I, you will support a wide variety of exciting projects—from custom electromechanical equipment and robotics to structural installations and equipment mounting. You’ll work side‑by‑side with engineers and project managers, gaining valuable experience as you help move projects from concept to completion.
Responsibilities
Assist with assembly, troubleshooting, prototyping, and light fabrication in shop and field settings.
Collaborate with Project Managers and other Engineering personnel to organize tools, materials, and plan for assembly and installation.
Interpret mechanical drawings and documentation for custom machines, systems, and products.
Maintain tool organization.
Troubleshoot problems and identify root causes.
Execute quality control and project check‑lists.
View designs and navigate 3D/2D CAD software.
Working Conditions
Requires frequent walking, using hands, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in industrial, commercial, and residential locations.
Valid driver’s license required.
0–2 years of experience with hands‑on mechanical applications and installations.
Ability to use basic hand tools, follow directions, prioritize assignments, and communicate effectively.
