Responsibilities
Performs and oversees assembly, troubleshooting, prototyping, and light fabrication in shop and field settings and leads projects as assigned.
Leads and oversees projects and teams.
Installs structural steel, columns, supports, etc.
Installs a variety of conduit and pipe such as threaded, grooved, flanged, etc.
Assists Project Managers and others in gathering information for quotes and bids.
Identifies potential issues and opportunities for Change Orders and communicates with Project Managers and other Engineering personnel.
Interprets mechanical drawings and documentation for custom machines, systems, and products and red‑lines as necessary.
Assists with the oversight and scheduling of training and development of Mechanical Technicians.
Assists with scheduling personnel to meet project needs and enhance individual skillsets.
Working Conditions
Walk/use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or tools; reach with hands and arms; climb ladders and stairs; crawl/kneel.
Sit, talk, listen, observe, read, write, and type.
Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Perform work on site in industrial, commercial, and residential locations.
Have 8+ years’ experience in a role requiring industrial mechanical applications and installations.
Have 2+ years’ experience in a leadership role overseeing both projects and small groups of people.
Have a valid driver’s license.
Possess basic welding certifications and ability to pass a weld test.
Proficient with the selection and use of hand and power tools and equipment.
Have experience with providing quality customer service.
