Position Title:
Defense Procurement Compliance Analyst
Location: Onsite in Ft Worth TX
Role: Contract to Hire
Rate: $40hr (benefits included, PTO not included)
Candidates: US Citizens or GC Holders (no C2C or visa sponsorship)
Role Overview: The Defense Procurement Compliance Analyst will lead development and documentation of key reporting, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with Department of Defense purchasing and subcontracting requirements. The role will support data transfer and SOP creation related to transitioning manual processes into the ERP system. This position requires collaboration across functions, divisions, and categories to ensure procurement processes are clearly defined and linked to internal stakeholder procedures.
Tasks and Responsibilities: Small Business Program:
Support current small business reporting requirements
Assist in bid, proposal, and contract preparation, including identifying small business subcontractors
Develop/review Small Business Subcontracting Plans in proposals
Track small business progress; prepare and submit semi‑annual ISRs, SSRs, and additional reports as needed
Review and approve small business plans and reports from lower‑tier subcontractors
Policy and Procedure Management:
Partner with procurement, legal, compliance, and finance teams to review and update the Purchasing Policy Manual
Benchmark policies and suggest best practices
Update forms, checklists, and documents to ensure alignment with policies and government regulations
Recommend transitions from paper forms to electronic forms or online data capture tools
Partner with procurement leaders to create training and communication tools to enhance compliance
Process Automation:
Partner with Subcontracts management team to transition subcontract data from shared files into the ERP system
Create SOPs for new subcontract review, approval, update, and storage procedures
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field
Minimum Experience:
5+ years of experience in procurement, including US Government contracting
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
DoD procurement experience
Familiarity with FAR, ISRs, SSRs, and DCMA Small Business Audits
Strong process management, quantitative, and data-driven problem‑solving skills
Excellent interpersonal, writing, and verbal communication skills
Strategic thinking and ability to influence across multiple levels
Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, work independently, and maintain focus
Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:

4‑year degree or equivalent experience in procurement, supply chain, business finance, or a related field
Experience with government contracting procurement
Experience developing and documenting reporting policy and procedures for small businesses
