Position Summary Codent AI is seeking an experienced
Virtual Dental Treatment Coordinator (Independent Contractor)
to provide remote treatment coordination support to partner dental practices nationwide. This
1099 contract role
focuses on treatment coordination, dental insurance benefit interpretation, and patient communication using Codent AI’s technology platform. Contractors in this role operate independently, manage their own work methods, and deliver services in accordance with agreed-upon project requirements and service standards.

Compensation Hourly Rate:
$30.00 – $35.00 USD, based on experience and qualifications Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, equipment, and benefits.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate and review dental treatment plans in collaboration with partner dental offices Utilize Codent AI’s technology platform to support treatment planning workflows and documentation Verify and interpret dental insurance benefits, including coverage limitations and estimated patient responsibility Communicate treatment plans to patients clearly and professionally via phone, video, or secure digital platforms Support dental offices by improving treatment plan understanding and case acceptance through patient education and financial presentation Accurately document treatment coordination activities within Codent AI systems and applicable dental practice management software Serve as a liaison between dental providers, insurance carriers, and patients to ensure clear and consistent communication Maintain compliance with HIPAA and applicable data privacy regulations
Required Qualifications Minimum
5 years of experience
as a Dental Treatment Coordinator or in a comparable dental administrative role Strong working knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and common dental insurance plans (PPO, HMO, indemnity) Experience with insurance verification and patient financial discussions Ability to work independently using cloud-based platforms and remote communication tools Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple workflows in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications Experience with AI-enabled dental software or remote dental support platforms Familiarity with dental practice management systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar platforms Experience supporting multiple dental offices or dental service organizations (DSOs) Independent Contractor Notice This role is offered as an
