We have a mission that matters!**Description of Work**The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Distribution Manager by providing managerial oversight of the warehouse operations at the Apex Warehouse. Work is performed independently with a minimum of supervision and is reviewed based on efficient warehouse operations and procedures, and an adequate inventory of supplies and materials.

This position is responsible for the following:

- Purchasing, receiving, storing, inventorying and issuing of all warehouse items.

- Maintaining a safe working environment for all offenders and warehouse staff.

- Supervision of 5 Inventory Associate II, that supervises 28 incentive wage offenders in the picking, loading and unloading of freight at the Apex Warehouse.

- Assists the Distribution Manager in forecasting the supply and demand for clothing, bedding, awards, computers, janitorial products, oils, etc.

- Analyzes trends in the supply and demand of these goods.

- Ensures the maintenance of all equipment required for offender/staff safety and payroll paperwork.

- Training of all offenders and staff under their supervision.

- Auditing/reviewing the daily, weekly, monthly reports generated by the warehouse for accuracy and will assist with customers issues regarding orders from the warehouse.

In the absence of the Distribution Manager, this position will assume various managerial/supervisory duties for the Apex Warehouse operations normally completed by the Distribution Manager.**Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences****Salary Range: $39,671 - $69,426***The Knowledge Skills and Abilities/ Management Preferences are not required.
