Job Description:

• The Patient Services Representative I represents the face of the company to patients visiting for routine health needs or critical health insights.
• This role is responsible for drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and ensuring all procedures are performed safely, accurately, and in compliance with established practices.
• The position requires direct patient interaction, fostering trust and confidence while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties with confidence, following established procedures.
• Prepare blood specimens for laboratory testing in a safe and accurate manner.
• Maintain required records and documentation accurately.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Requirement/Must Have:

• Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call schedules, and overtime as needed.

Experience:

• Minimum of six months of phlebotomy experience required.
• One or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard and data entry experience required.

Qualification And Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
