Job Description The Patient Services Representative I represents the face of the company to patients visiting for routine health needs or critical health insights. This role is responsible for drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and ensuring all procedures are performed safely, accurately, and in compliance with established practices. The position requires direct patient interaction, fostering trust and confidence while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of patient information. Responsibilities Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor. Maintain a safe and professional work environment. Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties with confidence, following established procedures. Prepare blood specimens for laboratory testing in a safe and accurate manner. Maintain required records and documentation accurately. Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public. Requirements Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call schedules, and overtime as needed. Experience Minimum of six months of phlebotomy experience required. One or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard and data entry experience required. Qualification and Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
