Provide academic support and foster an engaging learning environment in the classroom
Assist with classroom discussions and activities, encouraging student participation
Help prepare students for guest speakers and supervise during field trips
Facilitate study group sessions to reinforce course material and support collaborative learning
Maintain a professional relationship with students while serving as a mentor
What is Required (Qualifications):
Must be at least 18 years old
High School Diploma
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with students, administration, and support staff
Experience working with high school‑aged students
Energetic approach to learning and respect for individual differences
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Proven ability to build community within small and large groups
Passion for working with students in grades K-12, including experience in summer camps or pre‑college programs
Ability to think critically and troubleshoot issues among students
Experience with providing constructive feedback on academic projects
