What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Provide academic support in the classroom and assist with classroom discussions and activities
Encourage students to reflect on course content and connect it to their future goals
Facilitate study group sessions and supervise students during field trips
Maintain attendance records and track student progress, reporting observations to the Program Manager
Foster a professional relationship with students while serving as a mentor
What is Required (Qualifications)
Applicants must be at least 18 years old
High School Diploma
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with students, administration, and support staff
Experience working with high school-aged students
Energetic approach to learning and respect for individual differences
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience working with summer camps, precollege programs, or international programs
Proven ability to build community within small and large groups
Passion for working with students in grades K-12
Comfortable problem-solving and working in a fast-paced environment
