Shuttle Driver (Non-CDL)

Responsibilities
Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, fuel buses, log trip counts, and assist disabled passengers.
Be at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
Possess a valid state‑issued driver’s license and carry it at all times while on duty.
Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
Courteously assist customers by answering questions; direct to Facility Manager as needed.
Report any known accidents, violations of Company policy, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
Communicate debris, water, oil spills, etc. to garage office.
Substitute for Cashiers or Valets when authorized.
Have thorough knowledge of all garage areas, major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the vicinity.
Assist customers with luggage and other traveling items, if applicable (e.g., operating shuttle buses at an airport location).
Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
Qualifications Education/Experience Required:
Less than high school education or one month related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
License Requirement:
Valid state driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record.
DOT Medical Card:
A Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
Availability to Work:
Special shift requirements may vary; availability to work 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; present information one‑on‑one to customers and employees.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide two‑digit numbers and ten‑s and hundred‑s; perform operations using U.S. currency.
Appearance:
Maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in full uniform at all times.
Physical Demands:
Regular standing, walking, hand usage to handle cash and equipment; occasional sitting, climbing or balancing; lift and move up to 75 pounds as needed.
Salary Range:
$16.00 – $20.00 per hour.
