Key Responsibilities
Provide specialized instruction to students with IEPs across a variety of disability categories
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams
Conduct progress monitoring, data collection, and continuous adjustment of instruction
Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and administrators
Create an inclusive, engaging, and structured learning environment
Support behavior plans, accommodations, and modifications to ensure student success
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
South Carolina Teaching License
with Special Education Certification
Experience working with K–12 students with diverse learning needs
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
