Catering Bartender
Employment Type: Part-time / On-Call (Event-Based)
Reports To: Catering Director / Event Coordinator
Position Summary The Catering Bartender is responsible for providing professional, efficient, and responsible beverage service at catered events. This role supports a positive guest experience by maintaining high standards of service, safety, and teamwork in fast‑paced event environments.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and break down bar areas and service stations
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages
Verify guest age and comply with all alcohol service laws
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
Deliver friendly, professional guest service
Follow company policies, food safety, and sanitation standards
Work collaboratively with catering and event teams
Qualifications & Requirements
Previous bartending or catering experience preferred
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Certifications
TABC Certification
Texas Food Handler Certification
Work Environment
Indoor and outdoor event settings
