LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a plaintiff-side law firm to find a Paralegal to provide short-term coverage during a leave of absence. This role supports personal injury matters from pre‑litigation through litigation and requires the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a small, experienced team. The firm values reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail and is seeking someone who is dependable and comfortable following established processes.
Responsibilities
Support plaintiff personal injury matters from intake through settlement and resolution
Prepare and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery, and e‑filings in Washington and Oregon
Review, organize, and manage case files, including incoming mail and email, medical records and bills, lien tracking, balance verifications, and medical summaries
Track litigation deadlines, maintain calendars, and assist with trial preparation
Prepare documents and exhibits for mediation, arbitration, and settlement negotiations, including settlement documents and closing letters
Communicate with clients and opposing counsel via phone and email and prepare internal forms and correspondence
Qualifications
2+ years of experience supporting personal injury matters is strongly preferred, experience in medical malpractice or civil litigation may be considered in lieu of PI experience
Familiarity with litigation procedures in Washington and Oregon
Ability to manage assigned cases independently while collaborating with team members
Professional demeanor, reliability, and strong time management skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
