Civil Litigation Paralegal
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Base pay range
$70,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr
A well-established civil litigation firm is seeking an experienced paralegal with a strong background in Nevada litigation to join the team. This position offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to work alongside seasoned attorneys on complex matters.
Responsibilities
Manage cases from start to finish.
Handle a full range of litigation support tasks, including discovery, filings, trial preparation, and direct communication with clients and courts.
Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, disclosures, and correspondence.
File and serve documents in Nevada state and federal courts.
Manage case calendars and deadlines to ensure compliance with procedural rules.
Maintain organized case files and assist attorneys in trial preparation.
Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff.
Track and maintain 150 billable hours per month.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of Nevada litigation experience.
Thorough knowledge of Nevada Rules of Civil Procedure and local court rules.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and case management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
