Part‑time teaching in the area of Physics, which may include developmental, occupational‑technical, university‑college transfer, or high‑school level courses. Classes may be on‑campus or online, during the day or evening, depending on college needs. May also be required to perform other duties as assigned, including assisting the agency or state government during emergency declarations.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Physics; or a Master’s degree with eighteen (18) graduate semester hours in Physics. Related occupational experience or teaching experience in at least one college‑level course (including developmental, occupational‑technical, university‑college transfer, or high school). Physics or a wide range of coursework and/or teaching experience throughout the Physics subject area, including calculus (University) and trigonometry (General College Physics). Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work with a diverse population of students, faculty, and staff. Demonstrated ability to employ multiple teaching strategies to create student‑centered classrooms and incorporate technology routinely into instruction. Online course instruction experience and/or training will be beneficial. Additional Information
