Responsibilities
Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center
Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology for managing rentals and inventory
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, and clean and inspect equipment
Answer customer inquiries and prepare rental invoices
Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.
Willingness to adhere to safety precautions in a work environment with potential risks
Capability to work both indoors and outdoors in various conditions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in customer service or a related field
Familiarity with equipment maintenance or inspection
Interest in pursuing additional certifications, such as forklift operation or propane filling
