Position Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) – long‑term care facility in the Greater Yakima Area. Monday – Friday shifts with a $2.00 per hour shift differential. Full‑time employment.
Key Responsibilities
Train staff and assist the director of nursing
Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home‑like environment for residents
Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living (ADLs), environmental orientation, medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self‑care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
Review, update, and communicate resident care documentation
Evaluate health emergencies and determine medical measures per nurse scope of practice and state regulations
Qualifications
Possess a current nurse license in good standing
Typical candidates have 1 year of supervision experience in healthcare; new graduates are encouraged to apply
RN preferred
