Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is hiring full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis in the Woburn, MA area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.
About the Position of Assistant Manager
The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Responsibilities include enforcing established policies, procedures and standards; scheduling mechanics/technicians; managing outside orders; ensuring quality and timely completion of jobs; meeting customer expectations; and ensuring the safety of team members.
About the Position of Service Manager
The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under-car repair services. They direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians to deliver timely, high-quality vehicle repair and maintenance. Service Managers drive sales initiatives, communicate with customers, assess needs, provide information on repairs and maintenance, ensure customer satisfaction, and strive to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

To be eligible for the position of Automotive Assistant / Service Manager, you must: (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess one of the following: (i) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales; (ii) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance; or (iii) any combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
