What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Perform skilled maintenance work for vehicles and multiple properties, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks
Monitor, supervise, and direct day-to-day maintenance and maintenance personnel
Ensure all properties are maintained in compliance with health and fire department codes
Troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical malfunctions and conduct preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment
Collaborate with management on budgetary issues and approve all maintenance purchases
What is Required (Qualifications)
Two years of coursework from a technical or vocational school in construction, HVAC, plumbing, or electronics
Minimum of three years of experience in maintenance and repair work for commercial buildings and grounds
Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Valid Driver’s License
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in managing maintenance personnel
Familiarity with health and safety compliance standards
Knowledge of budget management in maintenance operations
Skills in troubleshooting a variety of mechanical systems
