Salary & Compensation Base pay: $15.00 – $32.00 per hour (DEQ) + $8.00 per billed hour commission.

Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance and oil changes.
Grease trucks and trailers.
Perform tire services.
Conduct CSA/DOT inspections.
Execute service calls and night call‑outs.
Carry out intermediate to advanced electrical repairs and diagnostics.
Complete intermediate to advanced wheel‑end repairs (e.g., S‑cam/bushing replacement, spindle repairs, race and bearing replacement, wheel seals).
Repair intermediate air systems (tank replacement, air bags, leveling valves, dash valves).
Perform basic HVAC repair (evacuate/recharge, failure diagnostics).
Handle basic coolant repairs (thermostat, water pump, hoses, fittings, radiator).
Execute basic welding tasks.
Conduct basic starting/charging procedures and diagnostics.
Complete basic engine repairs (belts, tensioners, pulleys).
Perform basic steering/suspension services (shocks, reservoirs, filters, alignment).
Execute basic drivetrain and transmission repairs (clutch adjustments, U‑joints, carrier bearings).
Maintain shop cleanliness and remove clutter.
Ensure all service equipment is clean, functional, and repaired when needed.
Store parts, tires, etc., properly.
Complete work orders with customer information, labor performed, parts used, and warranty details.
Ensure total customer satisfaction and maintain the integrity of Bosselman.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Complete OSHA Skills Demonstration within the first week of employment.
Stay current on all LMS training.
Provide friendly and competent customer service.
Report for work on schedule.
Additional Duties
Assist with other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
None.
Education & Experience
Tire Service Certified by TIA within 18 months of employment.
Air Brake Certification.
DOT Medical Card required at Boss Shops.
Minimum two years of diesel technician experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Valid driver’s license and insurable status.
Completion of brake and wheel seal training.
Ability to attend HVAC, electrical, and DOT training.
Ability to obtain ASE, DOT, TIA, and other certifications.
Availability to work weekends, holidays, and as needed.
Reliable transportation and phone.
Proficiency in English (if applicable).
Friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service skills.
Cooperative teamwork abilities.
Demonstrated proficiencies required by the Tech I training program.
Physical Requirements
Occasional lifting and moving up to 75 lbs.; frequent standing, walking, handling, reaching, talking, hearing; occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
