Part‑Time: Operating Room Certified Surgical Technologist
Overview Bon Secours Surgery Center at Harbour View is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to support USPI’s mission. The role involves scrubbing for surgical procedures and partnering with staff to meet safety, quality, customer service, and financial goals.
Responsibilities
Scrub for all surgical procedures, demonstrating competence while working with leadership.
Establish effective working relationships with patients, physicians, employees, volunteers, and vendors.
Assist in maintaining departmental functions in support of safety, quality, and customer service objectives.
Support facility goals and uphold the mission and vision of USPI.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent.
Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred.
CST current certification; BLS required.
Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
Understanding of aseptic techniques and implementation.
Independent decision‑making skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
Excellent customer service skills and teamwork with patients, employees, and medical staff.
Advocacy for patient safety and quality of care.
