Supervise custodians in Residential Life buildings. Responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance and safety of Residential Life areas. Maintain effective communication with staff, demonstrate fiscal accountability by effective and efficient use of available resources, supply and equipment inventory management, proper maintenance of building surfaces, and ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining required cleaning standards. Participate in the planning, set-up and break down of events as requested. Accesses information utilizing desk top applications. Ensure training and safety programs are being followed. Provide general administrative support to manager. Schedule inspections of buildings to ensure established level of cleanliness standards are met. Meet with customers and employees to respond to inquiries regarding policy and procedures. Promote a work environment that encourages safety within the department, as well as understanding and supporting diversity and social justice. Active engagement in learning and practicing principles of social justice and inclusion, environmental sustainability and delivering great customer experience.

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma and three years related experience required. Ability to successfully complete ten-hour OSHA training on construction, safety and health issues. Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain and driver’s check required. Basic computer skills required. Specific physical requirements may apply based on specific job functions. Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Demonstrated ongoing commitment to workplace diversity, sustainability and delivering exceptional value and great experience to customers.

Desirable Qualifications Anticipated Pay Range $26.50-$27.85

Special Conditions A probationary period may be required, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), This position is ineligible for telework due to the essential functions, Background Check required for this position
