Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using PLCs, HMIs, and robotics.

Program, configure, and troubleshoot industrial control systems and software.

Conduct root cause analysis and resolve complex automation system failures to minimize downtime.

Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to optimize manufacturing processes.

Maintain, upgrade, and improve existing automated equipment and control systems for efficiency and reliability.

Develop and execute test plans, validation protocols, and documentation for new automation projects.

Ensure all automation systems comply with safety standards, quality requirements, and industry regulations.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA development.

Experience with industrial robotics (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) including programming and integration.

Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profinet, Ethernet/IP) and networking.

Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot automated manufacturing systems.

Knowledge of sensors, actuators, motor control, and other automation hardware.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with industrial robotics programming and integration (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).

Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, SQL, Power BI) for operational insights.

Familiarity with industry standards such as ISA-95 or ISA-88.

Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) or ERP integration.

Lean Six Sigma certification or experience in process improvement methodologies.
