Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy in completing tasks. Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks and other accounting software.
- Perform data entry tasks to ensure accurate recording of financial information.
- Review and process invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
- Communicate effectively with customers and vendors to resolve billing or payment inquiries.
- Reconcile account discrepancies and assist with month-end closing activities.
- Generate financial reports and summaries for management review.
- Ensure adherence to company financial procedures and regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
- Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Familiarity with invoice processing and financial record management.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior administrative experience in an accounting or finance setting is preferred.
