Our vision is to grow the future leaders of our community by increasing educational achievement, graduation rates, civic participation, and college entrance and graduation. We are a non‑profit charter holder for two charter high schools in the Tucson area.
How Will You Make an Impact in This Role?
Effectively manage the Exceptional Education learning environment, prepare lesson plans, provide specialized instruction, evaluate, monitor, and collect data on students’ performance to advance achievement. You understand and appreciate diversity.
Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction.
Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.
Complete required case management duties.
Minimum Qualifications and Competencies
Master’s degree in Special Education preferred, Bachelor’s required.
At least 3 years of successful classroom teaching experience in special education in a high school setting preferred.
Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate required upon hire.
Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Other Requirements
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
Able to present operational information to personnel at all levels.
Able to identify and recruit potential funding sources.
