Overview
Apply for the (USA) Technician, General Facilities Maintenance role at Walmart. This position will involve executing routine maintenance tasks to uphold the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of Walmart Stores, equipment, or fixtures under the supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager. Base Pay
$19.00/hr – $35.00/hr Key Responsibilities
Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment). Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair Work Orders and document repair activities. Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls. Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues. Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely. Qualifications
18 years or older. High School Diploma or equivalent. Can lift up to 50 lbs. at a time. Can move up and down ladders frequently. Comfortable working at heights frequently. Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time. Able to work in various temperatures. Hold a valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report. Vocational or Technical certification and 1 year experience, or 2 years total work experience, in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade.
