Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, and lighting systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions using schematics and testing equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and electrical equipment.
Repair or replace faulty electrical components, including motors, contactors, and sensors.
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Adhere to all electrical codes, safety regulations, and company lock‑out/tag‑out procedures.
Work with PLCs, VFDs, and other automated control systems for programming and fault resolution.
Recommended Qualifications
Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification
Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial control systems, PLCs (e.g., Allen‑Bradley), and HMI interfaces
Strong understanding of motor controls, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and power distribution systems
Ability to read, interpret, and update electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Experience performing preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on manufacturing machinery
Adherence to safety standards including NFPA 70E, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and arc flash mitigation procedures
Bonus Qualifications
PLC programming and advanced troubleshooting experience
Experience with robotics electrical systems or programming
Certification or experience with thermography/infrared inspections
Proficiency with industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet)
